Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 2 August 2026

This policy explains delivery for orders placed with DeLiving through deliving.co.uk.

1. Delivery coverage

Delivery availability depends on the product, supplier or warehouse, delivery service and destination. Many products can be delivered to eligible addresses in England, Wales and Scotland. Delivery to Northern Ireland is available only for selected eligible products and services. We do not normally deliver to the Channel Islands or other offshore destinations unless agreed in writing before purchase.

The checkout is the authoritative confirmation of whether the products in your basket can be delivered to your entered address. Where checkout cannot calculate a suitable option, contact us before ordering.

2. Delivery charges

Some products include free standard delivery. Other products have a delivery charge based on supplier, delivery profile, item weight or size, service type and destination. The available delivery method and charge are shown before you complete payment. Charges can differ between England, Wales, Scotland, the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and remote postcode areas.

We do not add an undisclosed delivery charge after an order has been accepted. Where an exceptional address or access issue requires a separately agreed service, we will contact you and you may decline and receive a refund if the order has not been dispatched.

3. Estimated delivery times

Delivery estimates shown on product pages, at checkout or in order communications are guides rather than guaranteed appointment dates. Standard courier items are often delivered in approximately 3–8 working days; many furniture items in approximately 7–10 working days; and selected oversized or specialist-delivery items may take up to approximately two weeks.

Stock availability, supplier processing, courier capacity, delivery location, access, severe weather and events outside our reasonable control can affect timing. Unless a different period is agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and normally within 30 days after the contract is made. Contact us if an agreed deadline is missed.

4. Suppliers, warehouses and split deliveries

Products may be dispatched directly by different suppliers, warehouses or delivery partners. Items in the same order may therefore arrive separately and on different dates. You will not be charged an extra delivery amount merely because we split an order, unless you request a separate premium service and agree its cost.

5. Delivery method and access

Depending on the product, delivery may use a parcel courier, pallet network, supplier vehicle or specialist/two-person service. Unless room-of-choice delivery is clearly stated, delivery is to the first safe and reasonably accessible point, such as the kerbside, driveway, entrance or building entrance.

Assembly, packaging removal, disposal and room-of-choice service are not included unless expressly stated or agreed before dispatch. Before ordering, check dimensions, doorways, stairs, lifts, parking restrictions and access. Tell us promptly about restricted access.

6. Arranged deliveries

A courier or delivery partner may contact you by phone, text or email to arrange a delivery date or time window. Please provide accurate contact details and respond promptly. Time windows are estimates unless expressly confirmed as guaranteed.

7. Incorrect address, missed delivery and redelivery

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and reasonable access. If delivery fails because the address is wrong, access was not disclosed, no authorised person is available for an agreed appointment, or you unreasonably refuse delivery, we may charge the reasonable direct redelivery, storage or return costs actually incurred, where permitted by law.

8. Cancellations and returns after dispatch

Contact us as quickly as possible if you wish to cancel. If dispatch can be stopped, we will do so. If an item has already left the supplier or warehouse, it may need to be delivered or returned through the authorised process. For a change-of-mind cancellation, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning or collecting the goods, as explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

Do not refuse delivery or send products to our correspondence address without contacting us first.

9. Checking delivery and reporting problems

Inspect the goods and packaging as soon as reasonably possible. If anything is damaged, missing, incorrect or faulty, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the product, packaging and delivery labels. Reporting transit damage within three working days helps us preserve courier evidence, but a delay in reporting does not remove statutory rights.

10. Risk

For consumer orders, risk passes to you when the goods are delivered into your physical possession, or to a person you identify to take possession on your behalf, except where the law provides otherwise.

11. No customer collection

DeLiving is an online-only retailer and does not offer customer collection from our business address unless we expressly agree a collection in writing.
